Yamaha TRBX305 5-String Active Electric Bass Guitar

Build a confident low-end foundation with a versatile five-string bass designed for worship teams, gigging musicians and studio players. The Yamaha TRBX305 combines a sculpted mahogany body with flexible active tone shaping, helping you move between supportive grooves and expressive lead lines.

Two YGD-designed M3 ceramic humbucking pickups provide a powerful starting point for your sound. Use the pickup balancer to blend their voices, then adjust the bass and treble controls to find your place in the band without reaching for your amplifier every time.

The five-position Performance EQ switch gives you quick access to different tonal curves when the set changes direction. From a church rehearsal in Nairobi to a live band performance or recording session, you can change your tonal character and fine-tune it with the master EQ.

A five-piece maple and mahogany bolt-on neck, rosewood fingerboard and 24 frets support comfortable movement across the instrument. The 34-inch scale and five-string layout give players an extended lower register, while the double-cutaway body offers access to the higher frets for fills and melodic passages.
