Behringer VP1800S 18-Inch Passive PA Subwoofer

Add weight and depth to your PA system with the Behringer EUROLIVE VP1800S, an 18-inch passive subwoofer for worship teams, DJs, live bands and event sound providers in Kenya.

The large woofer and bass-reflex enclosure reproduce low-frequency content from kick drums, bass guitars and music playback. Its published 35 Hz to 250 Hz frequency range lets you extend the bass foundation of a system built around full-range PA speakers.

With 400 W continuous power handling and 1600 W peak capacity at a nominal 8-ohm impedance, this subwoofer requires a suitable external power amplifier. Match the amplifier and configure your crossover and protection settings for the complete speaker system rather than treating the peak figure as continuous power.

Two parallel speaker connectors support flexible system wiring, while recessed side handles help with positioning and transport. A protective steel grille shields the driver, and a 35 mm pole socket supports compatible speaker-pole arrangements. Plan suitable transport and safe handling for the 41.4 kg cabinet, whether you are setting up for a church service, a DJ event or a live performance.

FAQs

Q: Does the Behringer VP1800S have a built-in amplifier?
A: No. It is a passive 8-ohm subwoofer requiring a suitable external power amplifier. Its power handling is 400 W continuous and 1600 W peak, not 1600 W continuous amplifier output.

Q: Can I connect this subwoofer directly to a mixer?
A: A mixer's line-level output cannot drive this passive speaker directly. Use a suitable power amplifier, appropriate speaker cables and a correctly configured crossover or speaker processor. When linking another cabinet, check that the combined impedance is safe for the amplifier.

Q: Can I get the Behringer VP1800S delivered in Nairobi today?
A: Same-day delivery within Nairobi CBD and major suburbs is available for orders placed before the daily cut-off. Contact Zamar Audio Solutions to confirm stock and lock in a delivery window. Countrywide delivery across Kenya is available, with lead times varying by location.
