Behringer B1220 Pro 12-Inch Passive PA Speaker

Give your worship team, live band or event sound system a versatile full-range speaker built for both audience coverage and on-stage monitoring. The Behringer EUROLIVE B1220 Pro combines a 12-inch woofer with a titanium-diaphragm compression driver in a passive cabinet for churches, DJs and live sound crews in Kenya.

The 12-inch long-excursion low-frequency driver handles the body of vocals and instruments, while the 1.75-inch high-frequency compression driver brings definition to speech and musical detail. A passive two-way design lets you pair the cabinet with a suitable external power amplifier rather than relying on built-in amplification.

Use the cabinet upright as a main PA speaker or place it in its floor-monitor position so performers can hear their mix. The rotatable asymmetrical horn helps adapt coverage to the cabinet orientation, while the 35 mm pole socket supports mounting on a suitable speaker stand.

For a church service, band rehearsal or mobile event setup, the parallel speaker connectors allow system expansion when the amplifier can safely support the combined load. Carry handles help with positioning, and a steel grille protects the drivers during regular handling. At 25.1 kg per cabinet, plan suitable transport and safe lifting.

FAQs

Q: Does the Behringer B1220 Pro have a built-in amplifier?
A: No. This is an 8-ohm passive speaker requiring a suitable external power amplifier. Its 1,200 W figure is peak power handling, not continuous output or a built-in amplifier rating.

Q: How do I connect and use it as a stage monitor?
A: Connect a suitable amplifier's speaker output to the cabinet using a correctly wired speakON speaker cable, not an instrument cable. Position the cabinet in its monitor orientation and check the horn orientation for the intended coverage. Confirm the amplifier's minimum load before linking another speaker.

Q: Can I get the Behringer B1220 Pro delivered in Nairobi today?
A: Same-day delivery within Nairobi CBD and major suburbs is available for orders placed before the daily cut-off. Contact Zamar Audio Solutions to confirm stock and lock in a delivery window. Countrywide delivery across Kenya is also available, with lead times varying by location.
