behringer-vp1800s-kenya
Behringer VP1800S 18-Inch Passive PA Subwoofer

Add weight and depth to your PA system with the Behringer EUROLIVE VP1800S, an 18-inch passive subwoofer for worship teams, DJs, live bands and event sound providers in Kenya.

The large woofer and bass-reflex enclosure reproduce low-frequency content from kick drums, bass guitars and music playback. Its published 35 Hz to 250 Hz frequency range lets you extend the bass foundation of a system built around full-range PA speakers.

With 400 W continuous power handling and 1600 W peak capacity at a nominal 8-ohm impedance, this subwoofer requires a suitable external power amplifier. Match the amplifier and configure your crossover and protection settings for the complete speaker system rather than treating the peak figure as continuous power.

Two parallel speaker connectors support flexible system wiring, while recessed side handles help with positioning and transport. A protective steel grille shields the driver, and a 35 mm pole socket supports compatible speaker-pole arrangements. Plan suitable transport and safe handling for the 41.4 kg cabinet, whether you are setting up for a church service, a DJ event or a live performance.

Key Features

The 18-inch woofer adds low-frequency reinforcement to music and live sound.

The bass-reflex enclosure supports powerful bass reproduction for PA applications.

400 W continuous power handling provides a clear basis for matching your amplifier.

1600 W peak power handling accommodates short signal peaks within a correctly configured system.

The nominal 8-ohm impedance helps you plan compatible amplifier loads.

The published 35 Hz to 250 Hz frequency range extends the bass coverage of a full-range PA setup.

Two parallel professional speaker connectors allow linking when the amplifier can safely support the combined load.

The 35 mm pole socket accommodates a compatible speaker mounting pole for suitable system layouts.

Recessed side handles provide practical grip points when moving the cabinet.

A rugged steel grille helps protect the woofer during regular use.

Technical Specifications

Brand: Behringer

Model: EUROLIVE VP1800S

Speaker type: Passive PA subwoofer

Enclosure: Bass-reflex

LF driver: 1 x 18-inch woofer

Continuous power handling: 400 W

Peak power handling: 1600 W

Nominal impedance: 8 ohms

Published frequency range: 35 Hz to 250 Hz

Sensitivity: 100 dB SPL, half-space, 1 W at 1 m

Connections: 2 x parallel speakON-compatible professional speaker connectors

Pole socket: 35 mm

Handles: 2 side handles

Colour: Black

Dimensions, W x H x D: 530 x 650 x 615 mm

Net weight: 41.4 kg

Packaged weight: 95.4 lb

Package dimensions, L x W x H: 27.25 x 25.5 x 22.25 inches

FAQs

Q: Does the Behringer VP1800S have a built-in amplifier?
A: No. It is a passive 8-ohm subwoofer requiring a suitable external power amplifier.
