behringer-b1220-pro-kenya
Behringer B1220 Pro 12-Inch Passive PA Speaker

Give your worship team, live band or event sound system a versatile full-range speaker built for both audience coverage and on-stage monitoring. The Behringer EUROLIVE B1220 Pro combines a 12-inch woofer with a titanium-diaphragm compression driver in a passive cabinet for churches, DJs and live sound crews in Kenya.

The 12-inch long-excursion low-frequency driver handles the body of vocals and instruments, while the 1.75-inch high-frequency compression driver brings definition to speech and musical detail. A passive two-way design lets you pair the cabinet with a suitable external power amplifier rather than relying on built-in amplification.

Use the cabinet upright as a main PA speaker or place it in its floor-monitor position so performers can hear their mix. The rotatable asymmetrical horn helps adapt coverage to the cabinet orientation, while the 35 mm pole socket supports mounting on a suitable speaker stand.

For a church service, band rehearsal or mobile event setup, the parallel speaker connectors allow system expansion when the amplifier can safely support the combined load. Carry handles help with positioning, and a steel grille protects the drivers during regular handling. At 25.1 kg per cabinet, plan suitable transport and safe lifting.

Key Features

The 12-inch long-excursion woofer provides low-frequency support for vocals, instruments and playback.

The 1.75-inch titanium-diaphragm compression driver adds high-frequency detail for clearer speech and music.

The passive design lets you integrate the speaker with a suitable external power amplifier.

The cabinet supports main PA and floor-monitor use, giving one speaker more than one role.

The rotatable asymmetrical horn lets you adapt its coverage to upright or monitor placement.

The 35 mm pole socket allows mounting on a suitably rated speaker stand.

Two parallel speakON connectors make linking another cabinet possible within amplifier load limits.

High-frequency overload protection helps protect the compression driver during demanding use.

The steel grille provides a protective barrier over the drivers.

Integrated carry handles assist with moving and positioning the cabinet.

Technical Specifications

Brand: Behringer

Model: EUROLIVE B1220 PRO

Type: Passive two-way full-range PA speaker and floor monitor

Low-frequency driver: 12-inch long-excursion woofer

High-frequency driver: 1.75-inch titanium-diaphragm compression driver

Continuous power handling: 300 W, IEC 268-5

Peak power handling: 1,200 W

Nominal impedance: 8 ohms

Frequency response: 55 Hz to 18 kHz, -10 dB, according to the user manual

Sensitivity: 95 dB SPL, 1 W at 1 m, full space

Main coverage: 100° horizontal x 50° vertical

Monitor coverage: 50° horizontal x 50° vertical

Crossover frequency: 2.5 kHz

Connections: 2 x speakON NL4, parallel

Pole socket: 35 mm

Dimensions, W x H x D: Approximately 397 x 638 x 406 mm

Net weight: 25.1 kg / 55.2 lb

Packaged weight: 63.4 lb, supplied packaging specification

Box dimensions, L x W x H: 30 x 20 x 19 inches, supplied packaging specification

Manufacturer part number: B1220PRO

FAQs

Q: Does the Behringer B1220 Pro have a built-in amplifier?
A: No. This is an 8-ohm passive speaker requiring a suitable external power amplifier.
